And so it begins...

School has officially started, and we are finally kicking things off for the semester. I've done some dying with Jim for Draping II, LOTS of prepping for Millinery I, research for Millinery II and Draping II, and had my first Tai Chi class (which is moving way too fast for me--ironic, huh?).

Here are a few photos of me being giant for your viewing pleasure*:

*in a country where 95% of the photographers are shorter than you, there are few flattering photo angles

The place where we practice tai chi; it overlooks a small man-made lotus pond on one side and a patio view of the city on the other

Ummm, why hasn't America gotten on this bandwagon? Candy-coated strawberries!

I LOVE street food: "Waffle balls" as I'm calling them, and freshly squeezed orange juice in an adorable bottle

Emily and I couldn't resist the tourist photo booth
